After many years of watching homes and holding keys for family, friends, and neighbors, recent years seemed to have the highest number of problems while owners were away: From half-open back doors, a 6-inch diameter tree branch through a roof, squirrels chewing into and nesting in gutters, the irrigation system not operational, a leaking basement starting to mold, to water from snowmelt running in through a sunroom onto a computer. This led to researching the home watch industry so that we could ensure that neighbors and future clients would have everything taken care of properly. This led to joining the National Home Watch Association. The NHWA holds a very high set of standards which assures customers that the people in their homes are indeed looking out for their best interests at all times.
I have lived at the beach for over 25 years and have been boating for more. I also run a successful photography studio with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. A skilled professional photographer has about ten times more eye movements, paying close attention to detail, than your average person. I have always had the ability to find four-leaf clovers in a patch of threes. This natural trait of observing differences in patterns and things out of place is very useful.
